Imperial College London briefing paper – Smart surfaces to tackle infection and antimicrobial resistance

Imperial College London – Institute for Molecular Science and Engineering – published a briefing paper in March 2020 that assess the current state of the art in the development of antimicrobial surfaces for the clinical environment and medical devices.

The Institute for Molecular Science and Engineering (IMSE) has brought together world-leading experts at Imperial
College London in the fields of bio-mechanical engineering, surface engineering, medicine, infection control, infectious disease management and microbiology to develop new solutions for a range of clinical and medical device needs.
